PaperCut MF 17.3 features a number of improvements designed to enhance the user experience – from customized branding for Reports to quicker deployment in server-less environments and a host of brand-specific updates! This latest release expands the value of advancements featured in this year’s earlier releases.
Quicker Deployment of Direct Printing
Close to a thousand organizations have been able to remove their print servers with PaperCut’s Direct Printing solution.This new release includes a minor improvement to the Direct Printing solution with a reduction to the size of the monitor application. This reduction makes it quicker to deploy the Direct Print Monitor for sites interested in server-less printing.

Customized Branding of Reports
Release 17.2 introduced a much quicker and easier way to customize branding of the Client, User Web Interface and Admin Interface. In PaperCut MF 17.3, the Reports section is now one of the areas that can be personalized to have a look and feel adjusted to match that of the customer.
Toshiba User Experience Improvements
This release now supports a more stable and streamlined user experience, building on months of enhancements and improvements to the Toshiba V3 embedded solution. Users can now navigate directly to the main device menu from anywhere in PaperCut. This sleek experience assures confident deployment of new devices.

Access Xerox Home Screen After Authentication
PaperCut MF for Xerox now has a streamlined login process. More flexibility and control for the login workflow provides a familiar experience. Users can easily access the Xerox home screen after authentication in addition to registering Print Release and Account Selection apps right from the native home screen.

Support for Lexmark’s Scan Center Solution
The PaperCut MF embedded app for Lexmark MFPs now offers users an integrated experience with the Lexmark Scan Center app. Users only need to authenticate once when logging into PaperCut MF at the MFP using a Single Sign On process that also logs the user into the Lexmark app, allowing it to track and cost scan jobs.

Integrated Scanning on 8.5″ or Smaller Sharp Screens
17.3 offers the opportunity to position Integrated Scanning on more devices, now including 8.5″ screens. Customers currently using Sharp devices that previously didn’t support Integrated Scanning can now take advantage of all the benefits the time-saving feature has to offer. Sites with a combination of Sharp 10″ and 8.5″ devices can now offer a seamless scanning experience for their users.

Support for HP Enterprise & Managed Printers
PaperCut MF now delivers a consistent experience for users with single-function printers and selected small screen devices from HP’s FutureSmart range, eliminating the need for a fast release terminal. Less hardware to purchase and maintain allows easier positioning of Secure Print Release and Find-Me printing for opportunities with multiple device types.
