Elatec TWN4 MultiTech
The TWN4 MultiTech family of transponder readers and writers allows users to read and write to almost any 125 kHz / 134.2 kHz and 13.56 MHz tags and/or labels.
The TWN4 MultiTech is a contactless RFID reader/writer and a direct enhancement of the TWN3 with the same mechanical dimensions (OEM PCB and Desktop Housing).
TWN4 MultiTech also supports all major transponders from various suppliers like ATMEL, EM, ST, NXP, TI, HID, LEGIC, and ISO standards like ISO14443A/B (T=CL), ISO15692, and ISO18092/ECMA-340 (NFC).

The New Elatec TWN4 Slim
Elatec’s smallest compact and flat RFID reader – it’s smaller than an ID-1 card. TWN4 Slim supports a vast range of LF and HF technologies (125 kHz and 13.56 MHz). It can be operated as a standalone unit connected using a standard cable with a micro USB plug to PCs and other devices with a USB interface.
TWN4 Slim is perfectly suited to embed it into machines and devices, especially MFP printers with optional clip-on snap-in cover.

Featuring plug-n-play functionality, no required software, and embedded configurable flash memory, the reader, are ready to integrate with nearly all operating systems, applications, and embedded controllers.
The USB model emulates a keyboard and keystrokes the card’s ID and/or site code to the cursor’s location on the screen. The reader can be configured to add keystrokes before and after the card’s data. The serial version, available in RS-232, Ethernet, or USB Virtual Com, delivers the card’s data in ASCII.
